Helen Nelson captains Scotland this weekend against France as one of five Loughborough Lightning players selected in the matchday squad.
Scotland are without former Lightning forward Malcolm for the Hive Stadium encounter on Saturday (kick-off 4.15pm), meaning Nelson steps up from her vice role to lead her country in the Round 4 match.
The fly-half is partnered once more in the half-back positions by club mate Leia Brebner-Holden, who is picked at scrum-half.
Elis Martin earns her first start for club or country since the World Cup as she packs down at hooker, in a forward pack that features Becky Boyd at No.8. Completing the Lightning quintet is Lucia Scott, who is named amongst the replacements.
