Kathryn Treder, Mae Sagapolu and Alev Kelter have all been named in USA Women’s Eagles squad for the upcoming WXV Global Series.
The Loughborough Lightning trio are included in the 33-player group that has a two-week training camp in Dublin before Tests against Ireland (20 September), Wales (26 September), then Italy (18 and 25 October) and finally England (30 October).
USA Head Coach Jack Hanratty said: “The Global XV is exactly what we want to challenge ourselves against top teams and although we have been excited for athletes to express themselves on the field, we now want to hold ourselves to world class standards both on and off the field.”
Confirmation of the USA squad takes Lightning’s representation in current senior international squads to 16, following six players being named in both the recently announced Canada and Red Roses squads and Meg Davey being called up for Wales.
