Loughborough Lightning are delighted to announce GRS as an Elite Partner for the 2025/26 Premiership Women’s Rugby season.
The materials trading experts are long-standing supporters of Northampton Saints, and are now extending their commitment to rugby union by pledging their support to Lightning.
As part of their Elite Partner agreement, the GRS logo will appear on the Lightning home and away shirts in the same location they appear on Saints’ match shirts, on the front of the shirts above the club crest and kit manufacturer logos.
GRS is the country's independent supplier of construction materials, from low-carbon recycled aggregates and decorative landscaping products to high-volume bulk aggregates for some of the country's biggest construction projects.
The company, which was recently nominated for the Land and Development award at the 2025 Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards for its work with Northampton Town Football Club’s LCS Stand development, has been associated with Saints for more than a decade.
“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome GRS as an Elite Partner of Loughborough Lightning,” said Ulundi Makhanya, Director of Commercial Partnerships at Northampton Saints and Loughborough Lightning.
“This partnership is another significant milestone; GRS are a long-standing and highly-valued supporter of Saints, now they are demonstrating their commitment to Lightning, rugby in the region and women’s sport.
“It’s another proud moment to see a partner invest in both our men’s and women’s teams.”
Alongside their on-shirt presence, GRS branding can also be seen in the East Stand, which is the area of cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens that is opened for Lightning supporters on matchdays.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Loughborough Lightning,” said Martin Hill, Chairman of GRS Group. “This collaboration not only aligns with our values as an inclusive employer, but also allows us to support the growth of women’s rugby and connect with a passionate fan base.”
