Loughborough Lightning are back at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens for the second week in a row this Sunday (9 November, kick-off 2:30pm) for their Round 3 PWR clash with Exeter Chiefs Women.

Last week, Lightning got their first win of the season over northern rivals Sale Sharks in a tight tussle in front of 1,600 fans in Northampton.

This week’s visitors, Exeter Chiefs, sit just one point above Lightning in the table after the opening rounds, and Lightning will be looking to register their second win of the season.

OPENING HOURS

Below are the opening hours for Lightning vs Exeter Chiefs

  • 10.30am: Claret Car Park open
  • 12.30pm: Ticket Office windows open
  • 1pm: Stadium open, Lightning Clubhouse open, Village Store open
  • 2.25pm: Teams out onto the pitch
  • 2.27pm: Moment of silence pre-game
  • 2.30pm: Lightning vs Exeter Chiefs KO
  • 2.45pm: Ticket Office closes
  • 3.10pm: Lightning vs Exeter Chiefs HT
  • 3.25pm: Village Store closes
  • 4pm: Lightning vs Exeter Chiefs FT
  • 5pm: Rodber Bar closes
  • 5.30pm: Lightning Clubhouse closes

ENTERTAINMENT

  • For the 2025/26 PWR season, Loughborough Lightning will have a brand new fan-zone located between the Gate 2 turnstiles up to the South Stand Reception.
  • Make sure to check out our Family Zone inside of Heroes Bar, and have a go at bracelet making and Cowboy Hat decoration as well as face painting and our passing cage!
  • Please note that Cowboy Hats will need to be purchased and are available in the Village Store
  • Make sure you’re pitchside after the final whistle for your chance to receive a signed ball from a Lightning player.
  • Live music from talented Northampton-based singer Kenny K in the Rodber bar from 1:30pm to 2:15pm and again at half-time.
  • Watch out at half-time for the young rugby players who have participated in our Under 14s festival, who will be parading the pitch.
  • Club of the Match, Buckingham RFC, will be providing the guard of honour as the teams run out onto the pitch.

FIREWORKS

  • Don’t forget we have our fireworks display on Sunday evening following the game.
  • Anyone with a Lightning/Firework ticket bundle, please head to the Rodber Bar with your ticket to collect your Wristbands
  • Please head to Car Park D once the game concludes via the signage around the stadium
  • Firework tickets are not included in Season or Match tickets unless you have purchased a bundle ticket.
  • Anyone else still wishing to buy tickets to the fireworks display, they are still available HERE.

REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY

  • This Sunday’s clash at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens will mark Remembrance Sunday with both sides paying their respects to our fallen war heroes during the pre-match ceremony.
  • The ceremony will begin at approximately 2.25pm; please ensure you are in your seat in plenty of time prior to this, as movement within the stadium will be restricted while the ceremony takes place.

2025/26 LIGHTNING KIT

  • Make sure to get to the Village Store to get your hands on our brand new Loughborough Lightning home and away kits for the 2025/26 season and show your support!

MATCHDAY PROGRAMME

  • Loughborough Lightning’s matchday programme is available to all supporters, free of charge, via a digital-only format.
  • From 4pm on Friday 7 November, the matchday programme for Lightning vs Exeter Chiefs will be available to view HERE.

LIGHTNING CLUBHOUSE

  • Lightning Clubhouse is the perfect way to elevate your matchday experience at cinch Stadium for all Lightning home games.
  • The package (which does not include your match ticket) is located in the Captain’s Bar in the East Stand – a space designed for supporters who love a relaxed, social atmosphere and the opportunity to mingle with fellow supporters in a vibrant space whilst enjoying exclusive behind-the-scenes access.
  • Lightning Clubhouse includes access to a private bar, a locally sourced one-course meal, and an official matchday team sheet – all for just £24 per person, per match.
  • This deadline to book a spot in the Lightning Clunhouse for this Sunday’s fixture has now passed; however, it is still available for our next home match on 29 November against Leicester Tigers.

CAR PARKING

  • Claret Car Park is available for supporters, priced at £3.
  • Car Park hangers do not apply for this fixture.
  • Claret Car Park opens from 10:30am.
  • After the Car Parks close at 10:30pm, there will be no access to any vehicle left behind until Monday morning.
  • Parking for Blue Badge holders ONLY is available in Car Park A.
  • Given that cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens sits in a residential area of the town, we strongly urge all supporters to use the Club’s Car Parks. Should they choose not to do so, supporters must park with due care and respect for the needs of local residents and businesses.

FOOD & DRINK

  • Rodber Bar (East Stand) will be open from 1pm. Hot and cold drinks will be available along with food options.
  • There will also be a Pick & Mix stall in the Rodber Bar.
  • Rodber Bar will close around 45 minutes after the final whistle.
  • Please be aware that cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens is a cashless stadium; all bars and food outlets will only accept card payments.

SENSORY ROOM

  • Box 1 (East Stand) is available to use as a sensory room on Lightning matchdays.
  • This a designated space to help people, regardless of age, who have sensory processing needs.
  • Its purpose is to provide a safe and calming environment for those with neurodivergent needs who may be finding the match atmosphere overwhelming.
  • This will include ear defenders, fidget toys, colouring, feelings cards and calming sound/light for people to use.

OTHER INFO

  • ​The Club requests that supporters refrain from standing at the side of the pitch to watch the warm-up to prevent congestion. Please watch the warm-up from your seat.
  • There will NOT be an official timekeeper in attendance at the game on Sunday, so the in-stadium clocks will not stop during the game.
  • Saints’ Fan Radios will NOT be in use on Sunday.
