Loughborough Lightning are pleased to launch the first of an annual series of trading cards containing players from across the women’s and men’s Lightning and Saints squads.
The collection will see 120 cards released for the 2025/2026 season and will feature all players in the Lightning and Saints squads. Featured within the range of cards are rarities such as Ones To Watch, Magic Moments and sought-after shiny All-Star cards.
“Building the collection has been a great process, and it has been a long time coming for us to get these out for the fans to enjoy,” said Ben Lawrence, Head of Community at Northampton Saints.
“We released a sneak peek of these in August for our Legends Weekend, and they went down really well with the players on camp who received them as well as on social media.
The Saints community team have been working with the team at Blindside Trading Cards to get the set ready and released for the busy double match weekend on 20/21 December, which sees Saints take on the Sale Sharks in the Gallagher PREM on Saturday and Lightning take on Trailfinders Women in Round 8 of Premiership Women’s Rugby on Sunday.
Fans can get their hands on these trading cards in the Inclusion hub and Family Zone at the Lightning and Saints games, respectively, and then there will be a limited amount of packs purchasable from the club shop, both online and in-store, as well as at the Community camps, priced at £4 per pack containing six cards.
