Loughborough Lightning are delighted to announce a new strategic technology partnership with Vodafone.
The partnership will provide Lightning with access to Vodafone’s landmark platform, Vodafone PLAYER.Connect, which uses cutting-edge mobile-first technology to support player performance and welfare.
Through the Vodafone PLAYER.Connect dashboard, players, coaches, and support staff are able to monitor fatigue, mood, injury, menstrual cycle data, sleep, and energy – to ensure all players are at their peak ahead of each fixture, through tailored and individual training and recovery schedules.
The strategic partnership between Premiership Women’s Rugby side Loughborough Lightning and Vodafone has been announced following a huge summer for women’s rugby, with the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup held in England, and six games hosted at Lightning’s home ground in Northampton, cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.
