USA have picked the Loughborough Lightning front-row pairing of Kathryn Treder and Mae Sagapolu to both start this weekend’s WXV Global Series fixture against Wales.
The Eagles head to Cardiff Arms Park (kick-off: 3pm) in good spirits having overcome Ireland 36-40 in Dublin last weekend – with hooker Treder scoring two tries.
Head Coach, Jack Hanratty said: “Wales showed massive dominance and look like they have a new DNA when they played South Africa last weekend – which are a team that we had a real arm wrestle with this past summer. The quick six-day turnaround for us, versus an eight-day for Wales is big in preparation so this week we have to get right.”
