Scotland international prop Belisle is in the second year of a two-year deal, having signed for the club in 2021, when she made her debut against Worcester.
‘CB’ has gone on to become a mainstay in the Lightning pack, as well as for her adopted country of Scotland, having made her Test debut back in 2019 against South Africa.
She earned her 41st cap during the 2025 Guinness Six Nations before being left out of the initial squad for the Rugby World Cup, during a period in which she was dealing with personal problems.
Her return to action came in a Lightning shirt in the 2025/26 PWR: The Cup early rounds and following injuries to a couple of Scotland’s front-row options, Belisle was called up into the squad ahead of the quarter-final against England.
