Powerful forward Finch has been capped by England at Under-18, 19 and 20s  – and has also captained her country at age-grade level. 

Lucy’s rugby journey has seen her play for Newbury RFC, Reading RFC, Henley College, Harlequins Centre of Excellence and more recently for Loughborough University – featuring in the BUCS Super Rugby final in 2025.

Her Premiership Women’s Rugby debut came back in October 2023 as an 18-year-old. Entering the 2025/26 season, Finch is an option in the second and back rows for Lightning, and is also captaining Loughborough University in BUCS Super Rugby too.
