Hibbert-Jones is Lightning’s sole captain for the 2025/26 season, having shared the role with Rachel Malcolm during the 2024/25 campaign.

The No.8 managed to clock up 50 appearances in just two-and-half seasons and concluded last season having featured in 28 consecutive matchday squads.

Daisy overcome significant adversity early into her career before she joined Lightning, when she suffered an ACL, MCL and meniscus tear at the age of just 17. But she has more than made up for lost time, gaining international recognition with England U20 before earning her first Red Roses cap in 2023 when she featured in WXV as a replacement against Australia.

Formerly a coach with Northampton Saints’ Community team, Daisy now juggles her playing commitments with her role as a coach at Moulton College.
