Loosehead prop Williams was just 19 years of age when she made her Lightning debut as a second-half replacement against Leicester Tigers, and would go on to make nine appearances in the 2023/24 season – earning a first Premiership Women’s Rugby start against Gloucester-Hartpury.

 That progress continued in the 2024/25 season when a further 11 appearances in a Lightning shirt were added, along with a first try against Trailfinders Women. Her efforts were rewarded by being named Lightning’s Young Player of the Season. 

Alongside her Lightning commitments, Williams played a prominent role for Loughborough University in BUCS action and has also featured regularly for England Under-20s.

In the 2025/26 season, she announced herself to the world in the opening fixture of the PWR with a sensational 50 metre solo-effort try against Harlequins and went on to impress further in a Lightning shirt, making ten appearances, and won the fan vote for the Lightning Supporters Player of the season sponsored by Saints Supporters Club.
