Second row Baynes is in her second season of being involved within the Loughborough Lightning squad while with Loughborough College, and has now commenced her degree in Sports Management at Loughborough University.

Tamsin played junior rugby for Lutterworth RFC and Market Harborough RFC and later captained Lightning Centre of Excellence. She has been capped by England Under-18s, had Under-20s exposure and made her Lightning debut in this season’s PWR: The Cup.

She also aided rugby development in the Stowe School Girls’ Residential Camps, run by Northampton Saints in partnership with Loughborough Lightning.
