Hooker Peterson is on dual-registration with Buckingham Swans and made her Lightning debut in this season’s PWR: The Cup against Sale Sharks.

Polly’s rugby journey began at Towcester Rugby Club and represented East Midlands at age-grade level, and also participated in the Lightning Centre of Excellence programme for three years. 

After a brief spell at the University of Edinburgh, where she played first team BUCS Super Rugby, she returned home and played Championship rugby for Buckingham Swans. During the 2024/25 season, she trained with Lightning during preseason and returned for the 2025/26 campaign.
