Versatile back Tromans is capable in both the centres and at fullback, having honed her skills at Newcastle Emlyn RFC, Wiberod RFC, Carmarthen Quins, Scarlets and Cariff University – as well as Wales Under-20s on the international stage.

Ellie’s Lightning debut came in October 2024 in the Premiership Women’s Rugby loss to Trailfinders Women, and would add a second appearance as a replacement against Sale Sharks a week later. 

She broke away from Lightning to perform for Brython Thunder in the Celtic Challenge, before returning to Loughborough in the summer of 2025 and started all four PWR: The Cup 2025/26 games.
