Clarke joined Lightning in January 2024 following the demise of Worcester Warriors. She juggles her burgeoning rugby career while studying physics at Birmingham University.

The rapid winger made her Lightning debut in the PWR Cup back in April 2024 against Sale Sharks. Her first PWR appearance came against Trailfinders Women in the second round of the 2024/25 season, and a first try followed against Sale Sharks in the very next fixture.

She also added to her PWR appearances as a replacement against Gloucester-Hartpury as a replacement in December 2024’s 7-31 loss at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.

Alongside her Lightning commitments, Clarke has also represented England U20 and her try-scoring exploits in the 2024 Six Nations Summer Series saw her leaping effort against Wales go viral! 

Clarke also previously represented England U18 as well as England U18 Sevens.
