All six of Loughborough Lightning’s call-ups to the Red Roses’ 2026 Guinness Women’s Six Nations squad start in this weekend’s visit of Gloucester-Hartpury to cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.

Daisy Hibbert-Jones, Lilli Ives Campion, Haineala Lutui and Sadia Kabeya are in Lightning’s forward pack for Sunday’s game – tickets are available by clicking HERE – while Helena Rowand and Bo Westcombe-Evans are in the backs division.

Two of Lightning’s contingent of six Scotland Six Nations squad selections, Becky Boyd and Helen Nelson, are named amongst the replacements for the Premiership Women’s Rugby Round 15 encounter.

Nelson’s inclusion is Lightning’s only teamsheet change from their 43-33 victory over Harlequins last weekend, as she wears the number 23 shirt after missing out in Round 14 with a broken nose.

During the Quins’ success, Lightning recorded 181 carries, 31 dominant carry contacts and carried for 1,310 metres – which all ranked first across the eight teams who performed last weekend.

Leading the charge in that game was hat-trick hero Westcombe-Evans, who carried for 215 metres of gains, sped past 12 defenders, made six ljne breaks and 12 gainline carries – more than any other player in the league.

While they didn’t get on the scoresheet against Quins, Bulou Mataitoga produced a round-best four offloads and Alev Kelter was the joint-leading turnover merchant with two perfect breakdown poaches.

Lightning players will be wearing odd socks for the game in support of World Down Syndrome Day, and will also be wearing Red t-shirts in the warm-up in support of Northampton Saints Foundation Day.

“We are just focused on bringing our game to life,” said head coach Nathan Smith. “You can get everything right and lose to Gloucester. What we want to do is make sure we’re getting better as a team and we bring our identity to life.”
