Schoolchildren can get their hands on free tickets to watch Loughborough Lightning home matches this season thanks to an initiative with Vodafone.
Vodafone joined forces with Lightning in October 2025, becoming the Premiership Women’s Rugby side’s new strategic technology partner, giving players access to its landmark platform, Vodafone PLAYER.Connect.
In conjunction with Northampton Saints Community team, Vodafone is funding 50 tickets for each of Lightning’s remaining six home PWR games at cinch Stadium, for applicants from schools within the Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire region.
To register interest in receiving funded tickets, all interested schools need to do is send an email to community@northamptonsaints.co.uk
Schools will be required to send a survey out to parents, and when forms are filled out, they will receive 1x Adult and 1x Junior ticket to the fixture advertised on the survey.
Due to a limited number of tickets, this will be operated on a first-come, first-served basis. Lightning’s next home game is against Leicester Tigers on Saturday 29 November, followed by the visit of Trailfinders Women on Sunday 21 December.
“We’re delighted to be able to give away these funded tickets through Vodafone to young people in our local area,” said Connor Fleming, Community and Women’s Rugby Director at Northampton Saints.
“We hope that schools get on board and express their interest and we get to see plenty of new faces come along to cinch Stadium and experience everything we have to offer on a Lightning matchday.”
